How about the Samsung D500? Finally, a Samsung phone with Bluetooth, has a 1.3mp digital camera, 262k screen, although it's one of those Samsung 'slidey' phones rather than a clamshell, not sure if you had your heart set on the clamshell design.
have some more clamshells coming out soon, is it the z500 and/or the z700 or something like that?

The Z600 meets all those requirements. Plus you have the options to change the style covers on it. My GF has been using it for 10mo now and is very happy with it. Great screen and keypad.

Just had the new Panasonic X700 suggested to me, released date in February sometime. It's a symbian os so presumably has sms text storage in a folder somewhere. Don't know if it will have voice caller/sms text sender ID on the front screen though? It's a bigger front screen than previous Pansonic mobiles so they must be using it for something?!

I'm on Vodafone not Orange. I have the V3 and currently have 50 texts in my inbox and about 15 in my outbox. Why not call Orange and have a chat to them about it and see what they suggest.
The V3 is a great phone btw, I love it!
