Yes, the SE headphones are pants. All you need to do is open the buds, unsolder them and replace with better ones. The Sennheiser ones come apart to let you solder them on to the SE headset cables.
You dont need any soldering as you can get 2.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack adapters so you can use your own headphones. The only problem with this way is that you dont have a microphone to use so if you want to make a call you have to unplug the headphones.

Does the K700 have the same mp3-playing "engine" (or how do you call that) as the p900? The K700 sounds really good, even with the supplied earbuds. As long as you not compress too much of course. Too bad you can't put another headset on - mostly because the fm-radio is crystal clear as well.
I might have to reconsider my opinion about music storage on mobiles, even though a device carrying a couple of cd's will always be something completely different from one that carries your entire collection.

How do u listen to 5000 songs if the ipod only lasts 5 hours?
Are u gonna continuously listen to 5000 songs, dont think so.
U can listen to 100 songs continuously on the iPod and theres a car charger and an iTrip FM transimtter, and the 15 GB and 20 GB ones (are almost) and Mini are smaller than the P910.
also 60 GB / 40GB/ 20 GB / 4GB
Which are accessible from the device itself?
Thats a BIG advantage.
and U dont need to convert and do all that for distortion, if your songs are high quality songs from CDs ITUNES etc. They sound great on the iPod and u can use the auto equalizer which does wonders.
And if u have crappy songs u dont have to convert or compress Use PEAK or soundforge to change the quality and compression type.
and there u have it.

@Yazan24
I do not really get the point of what you mean?
Of course you do not listen to all the songs but the advantages of having your entire collection to choose from seem obvious?
Still nobody that knows if the MP3-player in the p910 is the same as in the K700?

Wouldn't it be nice if SE or Sony itself put a new version of the HBM30 on the market? Same idea, more storage and controlable from the phone?
They still sell the HBM30 but is buried deep on their website with the handsfree sets.
