No, it's a common error. If you do a search there may be solutions from other people who have had this error.

@andy
They do, but disclaim responsibility if it goes wrong, as this is an unofficial flash of the P900 with P910i FW.
@Nay
Could be. When you entered your CDA number, did it tell you there was a later version of FW to that which you currently have? Have you completed the checklist before you start the upgrade?

hmmm....
6 months fee updates doesnt sound long enough really. I'm on a 24mnth contract.
It's now a toss-up between flashing with generic s/w and having to return to the store for updates (which expires after 6 months) - which costs £25 wen the handset was only £25 in the first place
... or....
Making do and having naff Orange f/w on my handset (though I kno how to remove the Orange desktop thingy - I'd just like to get rid of those awful icons!
Is there a way of changing icons?
What to do... what to do...?
What would you do??

2 things to remember.
1. The warranty on these phones is only 12months.
2. You may never need to update the phone.

thanks for ur reply.
Yes when i enter my CDA it says there is a later version to which i shud upgrade.
secondly i have tried finding solutions to the problems i have ....dint find any...
my biggest problem is that whenever i bluetooth transfer or receiev a file my phone hangs so i have to restart it by removing the battery to make it work. thats the reason i need to upgrade my firmware.
let me know if any one can help me with upgrading it ..thanks!

hmmm.... still undecided....
What if I need to emergency flash? - I cant!... and ...I'm not always in London...
@aboveconnection
Anything else that could sway my desicion? (E.g. cheaper price or 18months free updates instead of 6)
Another thing is....
If I ever needed to return to an insurance company for whatever reason are you able to re-flash Orange firmware to the device incase they will not touch it as it has been "modified"?
hmmmm....
