Hi,
I really wanted to buy the R600 due to its good looks, simple functions (I'm not a heavy user) and of course affordable price. Oh, and it is not Nokia! However, I have read a lot of bad reviews in this forum and also other forums around the globe that the battery is REALLY REALLY bad. After 2 months of use or so, the standby time lasted only approx 2 days and the talk time approx 2 hours !!!! I believe this is not the standard battery life. Is this true?? I would really require inputs from the users of the phone. Am I making the right decisions? How about complaints that it seldoms hangs etc?
My other option will then be T65 or T200. Both are reported to better in the battery `department'. However, it not as slick as R600. Looks wise, I'll go for R600. However, if the battery is a big concern, I'll may opt for T65 or T200.

I've had mine for a month and a couple of weeks. Battery IS drained if you use GPRS alot. If you don't it will last longer than you think. And even if the battery-meter is almost out it will go on for another 24 hours, during which you can call and everything without problems.
If anyone is getting 48 hrs stand-by time or two hours talktime without using GPRS, they have probably abused their phones in some serious way.
And check out the "Display sleep" option Settings->Display->Display sleep
In the swedish menus that option is called "Saving mode" (but in swedish).

The battery life will get longer, after the first few recharges.
At start it only lasted for 1 1/2 day, now lasts for 3/4 days
