@meths get yaself a wireless lappy (sony vaio if you're a Sony sucker handy for memory stick but most lappys have slots for MSS + more) and you can carry it in ya satchel to work and plug it into ya network (or get a docking station as I do) and do all ya surfing and Sage. Then at home wander aimlessly from room to room* (with Esato of course) via your wireless BB router.
++ Finish work early and set up a VPN into work to update stock levels in Sage from home!

Mr M
*Assume you have more than one room in your cell.

Meths,

Something for you to read (with reference to the recently released miniMac).

The comments and "review" offered by the perosn are quite interesting and sensible. Take a look and tell me if it was helpfull.

Also look @ http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,4109,00.asp for a buying guide.

All you need to know about macs is contained in the following two videos.

1. By Gus from Red vs Blue (good stuff, and all true) (just click the link)
Here

2. By a guy called Hunter Cressal (also good, but older) (Right-click and save-as)
Here

Really, that is all...

If your PC's goin' in your living room get a nice small case (black) and wireless kb/mouse for running things to your TV

I was tempted to buy a mini mac just for surfing in the living room IF it had built in wireless but sadly no.

Mr M
PS I've got kbs with thoze Windoze buttons but only press them by mistake.
PPS as per @giovgio would you go for 2 x 80G but I'd go for Sata Raid ie 'seen' as 1x80G drive but mirrored as very few people backup their PCs.

Ive got a very attractive purple case, and a 22 inch monitor so im not too fussed about hookin up to my tv. I think he would complain about having to make holes in his dress for the cables anyway.

@mince, good work on spelling the name. 2x80 is not for mirroring. Think it is better to put in two hdd than a single 160gb. This message was posted from a K500
