I bought a USB charger from SymMobile and it's OK. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy usage, if you're just going to plug it in somewhere and leave it then it's fine, but the build quality is not very good. Mine didn't work very well when i got it, i had to wiggle it around a bit to get it to charge. Must be a loose cable. I'd send it back for a replacement but it came all the way from Hong Kong.
I think the guy from SymMobile is registered on here. If you read this, what is your returns policy?
Mine may just be faulty, don't take my word for it, it's a useful little charger. The cable is a little thin but you aren't really going to snap it unless you plan on swinging your phone from it like a lassoo..
