Freezer? Might be saying to stop using the battery for some time! Lol :-D

Putting the battery in the freezer was supposed to extend its life, but thats a myth and definitely doesnt work, dont risk it, water might enter the battery and void the warranty and btw this technique was to extend life of ordinary dry cell and alkaline batteries not rechargeable ones

It worked on older batteries, cooling them down helped them to react better. Of course it is not the copper cell ones, but rather the the common everday batt i'm talking about. No one has said it will not work here. (Or will work for that matter.)

Don't put your li-ion batt in the freezer! It will destroy it. Storage in a fridge at 5c is ok and slows the oxidation of the cell plates, but this is one of those long term (months) storage solutions.
