It is natural. But the frustrators are waiting for frustration to be shown up anywhere. This message was posted from a T610

If your friend says by workin in a shop you are getting 100 $ and working in a 5 star hotel you getting 500 $ where would you go ? . Its same US govt wants the oil as the middle east countries are the kings in oil and not only US govt is like this each and every country . You need courpption because all are not paid at the proper level of work they do and so people try all wrong things not only the workers but also the celebrities This message was posted from a WAP device

this is just the US trying to silence and control the arabic nations while they have a chance.

Now it's Iraq, it's going to be Iran, then it's going to be Syria, then the Gulf.

All the while, claiming that there are weapons hidden in the country.

Why dont they just go to the countries that are KNOWN to have weapons.

I'd like to see them TRY to go into China, or even North Korea.
You know, I didnt have any opinions against the US, but since they've been doing this crap, I've hated it more and more. And then they say it's because I've been brainwashed.

exactly! If they tried to go to china or something, the US would get killed! What if for some strange reason, China decided to help out Iraq? What the heck would the US do then? Cry? Bush knows that he cant beat china. To me... its like back in highschool... a big jock, that thinks hes all cool and stuff, picking on a person, knowing the person cant do much back.
The US needs to stop... or else they will get whats coming to them... we all know that...
i get so frustrated with this crap. I hate when they make stupid decisions. We do need to quit the war and crap and focus more on space stuff, i agree. This world will be f**ked, quickly too.
Bush needs to get his head on straight... ya know...

well, the muslim nations can only stay quiet for so long.
I mean, count the number of Islamic or partially Islamic countries.

Each in their own strategic area, they could all unleash havoc on the US.

Point is, it's scary because Bush is probably going to be the one to initiate WWIII

@amnesia... i was thinking the same thing about WWIII... :-\
and @ADT0079 if you watch the news... THEY TELL US WHAT THEY ARE PLANNING TO DO!... its not is predicting the future totally... Bush has said many things about what he is planning on doing... and were not so much predicting the future, most of it is all facts. the Iran part is facts, and if you listen in to what other countries are saying, you can easily figure out whats going on.
@ADT0079... it seems to me like you eather dont watch the news... or you are a Bush fan... but lets not digress... we have to stay on the topic...
what the US is doing cant go anywhere exept for downhill...

i was watching the news just yesterday and there was a piece all about the huge economic growth in China in the last 20 or so years and that by 2020 China could probably surpass the United States in terms of military and economic might

someone said earlier that theyd like to see the us even try to go into China but that aint gona happen obviously...because its a well known fact that both the US and Europe have both been cosying up to China because they can make money from trade agreements

after all they dont call China the sleeping Giant for no reason

an article i read:

Quote:

China: 21st century's sleeping giant

By DeWayne Wickham

Just at the point in time when one century gave way to the next, one of the great newspapers of all time wondered aloud about the future of the world's leading superpower.

"How will this mighty land fare in the new century?" the paper asked with some foreboding in an editorial that was published just hours after millions of people ushered in the New Year. Will it dominate the next 100 years as it did much of the past century, or will it give way to "the growth of new forces and the birth of new ambitions" in some foreign land?

These questions appeared in The Times of London - at the beginning of the 20th century, not the 21st.

Back then, it was England that dominated world affairs. When the 20th century dawned on Jan. 1, 1901, the British Empire stretched around the world. England's navy ruled the seas, and the pound - not the dollar - was the currency of preference.

The 19th century was the British Century, but, as it turned out, the United States dominated the 20th century. Now, as that comes to a close, the question asked 99 years ago about the resilience of the British Empire must be asked again about its successor on the world stage.

The century of British dominance arrived "with no hint at the vast political, economic and social changes which the Industrial Revolution would bring," The Times editorial said. The same can be said today of the Technological Revolution that ushers in the new millennium. Will it be a force that enhances America's strong economic position, or will it awaken a sleeping giant in much the same way the Industrial Revolution transformed this country from a backwater state to an awesome superpower?

The answer to this important question resides in Beijing, not Washington.

Great potential for a great future

China is the 21st century's sleeping giant. Virtually all of Asia is within its political sphere of influence. While still a second-rate conventional military force, China is one of a small group of nations with a nuclear arsenal capable of turning a large chunk of this globe into a radioactive wasteland.

With more than a billion people, China has the potential to become Asia's economic engine in the new millennium. What it lacks in technology it will purchase from America and its allies. Capitalism can't forgo such a large marketplace.

Communism is the biggest hurdle China must overcome to make a serious assault on the United States' dominant position in the world. For most of its 51-year existence, communist China was mired in the economic quicksand the Marxist ideology produces. Only as its rulers have started to move that nation toward a market economy has China begun to emerge from its financial quagmire. That shift already has started to blur China's ideological markings.

"I think what's going on in China right now is less about communism than it is about personal power," said Alan Chartuck, a professor of political communications at the Albany campus of the State University of New York. "The ideology will disappear when the affluence appears."

Tiptoeing around capitalism

This much is certain: China's flirtation with capitalism became more pronounced after it regained control of Hong Kong and embraced a "one country, two systems" policy that allows the former British colony to retain its capitalistic economy.

"Eventually, progress will override backwardness, science will win over ignorance and justice over evil," Chinese President Jiang Zemin said of his country's future in a New Year's Eve address.

If that happens, China's future will be a lot better than its past. But to prosper in the 21st century, China must undergo a dramatic change.

Like Cuba, China is trying to create a unique blend of communism and capitalism. It wants to maintain the political vestiges of an ideology that lost its most important patron when the Soviet Union collapsed, but it wants to dump its state-run economy in favor of a truncated version of capitalism's free-market system.

Just as the United States' rejection of the League of Nations was a misguided attempt to return to a policy of isolationism in the wake of World War I, China's effort to "have its cake and eat it, too" will put the brakes on its rise as a world power. To realize its great potential, China will have to shed its communist cloak.

If that happens, China may have as much impact on the new century as the United States had on the past.
