a little question so what does the proxy do,does it make the tinternet faster or allow you in to more web sites than you can normally,i have the 02 web setting changed a little bit,and my tinternet works fine

check your GPRS timeout settings in the wap or internet accounts (cant remember which one) in the control panel. i suspect your timeout is set to 5 minutes. change it to unlimited or whatever you desire and it should be fine

i was thinking this is more of an o2 network problem... rather than a phone problem...its only started doing it this week... its getting better tho, its not as bad as it was a week ago, i can stay on for bout half hour now but it will still cut me off eventually.
any one else having this problem??

i guess its a network problem then. Jus have to wait and see if it improves. if not you could try phoning them and see wot they say but usually o2 customer support is totally crap

cheers mate im here n found it! i still cant get emails. just keeps sayin timed out, im on a sony p900 with o2 pay as u go. any ideas?
