I also think it matters where you install it.
I found so far that both Magic Profiles Pro and Facestore will not work correctly when installed on the memory stick, so check that too.

hell everyone, I've been playing around with MPP and have some observations that might either confuse everyone or shed more light to this problem.
I notice that there seems to be some conflict between the calendar rule and the schedule settings. I have a calendar rule set from 0300/3am - 0700/7am everyday, which is my sleep profile (flight mode...etc). I also have a "prepare to sleep" profile set using the schedule function to kick in at 130am everyday. I notice that MPP will not automatically change to the "prepare to sleep" profile whenever I maintain the "sleep" at 3am in my calendar. But when I delete the calendar entry and hence have no more "sleep" profile, then everything works fine and MPP automatically changes to the "prepare to sleep" profile at 130 or any other profile I set to change after 12 midnight for that matter using the schedule function.
To summarize, it seems I can only have one or the other. If I want my "sleep" profile to kick in at 3am using the calendar function then all profiles will stop changing automatically from 12midnight. I can only get all the profiles to change automatically after that time if I completely delete my calendar entry. This obviously should not happen as the timing is not similar (i.e prepare to sleep kick in at 130 am and sleep calendar profile only at 3am). Appreciate any response on this matter. Thanks

I think this may shed some light on alpal's confusion (and that of others) - taken from the Symbianwave website:
"Profile priorities
You must know about priorities to customize your profiles correctly. Here are the main priorities:
1. Calendar (the highest priority).
2. Locations.
3. Scheduler (the lowest priority).
Scheduler rules have their own priorities: first weekday rules, then workday/weekend rules follow, and then every day rules at last. For example, you made such settings:
- Calendar rule with the keyword *meeting* -> profile Meeting;
- Scheduler rules:
- - 09:00 / Monday -> profile Profile1
- - 09:00 / Workday -> profile Profile2
- - 09:00 / Weekend -> profile Profile3
Then if you have a Calendar entry “Monday, 09:00-09:30, *meeting*”, the Meeting profile will be set on this day, at this time (9:00). At 9:30, the Profile1 will be activated. On Tuesday-Friday, the Profile2 will work. And on Saturday-Sunday, the Profile3 will finish the week."
Sometimes, I guess it pays to read the instructions!

Thanks for the imput Dave, I understand the different priorities between calendar rule and scheduled profile but the thing is they are both set at different time. My prepare to sleep profile is set at 130 am and my sleep calendar profile is set at 3am so using MPP manual, there shold not be any conflict right?
I fully understand if the sleep profile takes priority at 3am and overides the prepare to sleep profile set 130 am (in fact thats exactly what I want to happen) but I dont understand why while waiting for the sleep profile at 3am, the prepare to sleep profile doesnt kick in at 130am? All help appreciated

Thanks Petrosk for ur willingness to help. Do you mean my scheduler settings (as in what profiles at what time) or do you want to read all my settings including all profiles which will be quite tedious as I have about 10 different profiles. But will still do it anyway if only to sort out MPP once and for all. Thanks

Finally got a reply from Symbianwave and yes the bug is confirmed. They have promised to work on it, lets hope the new version is released soon. The following is the email I got from them:
"Hello,
I did some test last days and, yes, the bug confirmed

. So we have
to fix it. In the meanwhile I'll try to find a workaround."
