Why was it cancelled? Any specific reason given by se?

I guess because edge is not going to be introduced in Europe, I think, since 3G is being installed; nor is push-to-talk going to be a hit. Both features are on Z500 and would account for a higher price which would only be reasonable in countries with EDGE and/or PTT.
On the one hand its a pity because it looks like a nice handset, on the other hand it is to big to really compete with the Samsung and other clamshells which would be its main goal here. I hope that if they introduce a clamshell for Europe it will be either really small or a k700-featurepacked phone - or both if possible.

On the Hungarian website there was the Z500i listed as "coming soon".. I don't know why should it be cancelled. J200 and T290 really don't have any future. On the low budget segment Siemens and Alcatel provides phones with far better spec.

Belgium site. And I thought I remembered Eldar or someone at m-r.com saying it wasn't coming out, so maybe it was canceled... (It's not on the global product portfolio page either...)
