This allways heppens... So I cannot do anything with the program... I can just see what I see in Sman exept the uptime - I use a freeware called uptime to see that!
I get this message when it crashes!
Reason code USER
Reason number 11!
Are there any other apps which are f*king BootMan up?? I just have Sman and VirusGuard running!

Reason number 11!Thanks for the above info, this gave us an idea what could be wrong. A fix will be included in beta 2 (we just wait until some more critics/suggestions accumulate).

This is most often the main reason for all problems with all

ok.... I can tell you a few things that I find make the program more useful if you want for future versions???

(but programmers also participate in generating those reasons)

Nothing wrong with it, as far as I can see, and I totally disagree with the people who were being rude at the bottom of this thread. I think it's great that CPS are actively seeking our input and we should applaud this. If only more programmers took the lead.
So far, I have to agree that the functionality here is not enough to justify paying for this software, and I presume it's not going to be freeware. SMan does provide much of the same functionality.

SMan does provide much of the same functionality.Logic might dictate that no much reason to publish another freeware with identical functionality; instead it makes more sense to produce a specialized commercial program that does its job better than the freeware. Purchases can only decide if we succeed or not, and surely many users will find the freeware solution absolutely satisfying. SMan is a great all-in-one application, that's without a doubt - but some people might need and seek for more functionality in certain areas, like autostart, file managment, database, system info, positioning, and so on.

I absolutely agree with your justification except that my point is that, as far as I can see (and I may well be missing something) this application actually has
less functionality and not much more detail in any particular function than SMan. Other than allowing one to view "uptime" and to set multiple autostarts (both of which are performed by existing freeware apps Uptime and SMan, as has already been mentioned), it doesn't seem to do a whole lot.
Anyway, as you have also correctly identified, the proof of the pudding is, as they say, in the eating, and if people are prepared to pay for such an application, then you will be proved right - and good luck to you.
By the way, FrontView is excellent, and well worth the price!

BootMan is for those people who for whatever reason want to start up more than three applications, and/or want to configure how they start up, and/or want to have all related info/functions in one place (uptime, soft-reboot, greeting).
BTW, ideas are welcome about what else in the same scope could be included in the app.

@lisa: Touché
Yes, FrontView IS a great app, no doubt.
I just asked myself for what reason i shall believe that it's
worth 10$ (or Pounds or whatever).
I'd instantly buy a licence for much less or i'd even pay
MORE on a voluntarily basis through a donation for freeware.
It's maybe only a different point-of-view, but i don't measure
the worth (in $) by the urgent need but by complexity and difficulty to make.
Just as i said: Compare complexityprice of any uiq-app with e.g.
Photoshop.
And please, Lisa...don't take it personal, my statement surely fits to all
the others. Some are even more unreasonable with prices >$20
