Oh i get it now. I thought you meant Trillian on your P800.
I'm not a user of Trillian but i'm guessing you're using O2 free GPRS. This is restricted to only use port 80 (HTTP), and if there are other ports required to login to e-mail using trillian then it will not work. I suggest you open the home page and try logging in that way instead of trying to open your inbox through trillian.
Another solution would be to ask a kind friend with broadband to set up a HTTP Tunnel (The application is called HTTP-Tunnel, funnily enough).
I've never tried this, so my knowledge is very vaige, so correct me if i'm wrong, but the HTTP tunnel software is similar to a proxy server. You get a friend to install it on their PC, and they run it 24/7. You then tell your phone to use your friends IP address when accessing the internet, and then your phone connects in this way:
P800 > O2 GPRS Gateway (Restricted Access) > Friends PC (Full) > Internet
Instead of:
P800 > O2 GPRS Gateway (Restricted Access) > Internet
This enables you to get full internet access on the move as far as i know.
I might be completely wrong, and please correct me if i am because i'm going to set this up soon! Hope it works!
Thanks
