How come it reached the argentine market before the US one? it was supposed to be exclusive for cingular for a while, wasnt it?
Anyway congrats for having that wonderful phone, how much did it cost you in $us, by the way.

OK, I really donīt know why it reaches Argentina first, but I can make the following reflections:
1. Sony, here is a very strong brand.
2. The phone is not sold by SE, it is sold by Sony (still S710a is in the SE Argentinian web page)
3. Itīs a brand product for Sony, not cel operators sells it, ONLY Sony (je, I wish you can see it in the Sony Store, I swep that I saw less protected u$s 10k jewels in Christieīs)
4. If you plan to sell a new handset in US, and for Cingular you cannot have 500 handsets only in inventory, Iīm wrong? In Argentina you can.
Finally, u$s 500, brand new, unblocked without subscription, official Sony Warranty, made in Japan and battery made in Malasya.

ARHHHH! i can't believe it's out in Argentina already. it's been moved back to coming soon status in the US section on the
website but not in the Argentina section. i've been calling cingular ever since they took off of coming soon about two weeks ago and they told me january 28th, februay 7th, and the end of february or the begining of march. one thing that they are sure of is that it's going to be $399 with a service plan.
