cross-line is posible
but it is only the network misconfiguration.

In most cases it can be only in the network upgrade/expand period.
It also can be a problem of an another network - which the called number belong to (fixed-telephone network or another operator)

The phone turn on/off itself: It's your K700's software bug. Just update it to the latest firmware (R2AE033 at the moment)

I just checked the firmware version of my K700. It's R2AE033 as you mentioned. It seemed like the on and off problem remains exist.

I realized that the phone turn on itself around 10:30PM. That was the time I had my K700 calendar reminder on (if my cell was on). But since I turned my phone off before the reminder time, my K700 screen turn itself on with no sound then turn iself off after couple seconds. It's weird. I guess that could be another buggy issue that need to be fixed.

As everyone knows, K700i will turn itself to save-mode after around a minute after idle.

However, I realized that the phone (K700i) screen will turn on itself. It seems the phone wake itself up. I feel it happens quite frequently especially if the reception in the area is poor. Does anyone know whether is it normal?

Thanks for your help

I have had that happen once, on the K700i too.
I was ringing my GF, her signal was poor, it cut off and then I was hearing one half of someone elses conversation. I recorded the last part. They were arranging going to Wakefield, it was rather strange, lasted a coupled of minutes.

You should of had go at my first mobile. My old analog mobile had a discharge setting. ( this was when you only had 24hr standby time, and people moan now). Anyway when the phone was discharging you could hear other people through the ear piece. Very weird, but that was Analog for you! This message was posted from a Nokia
