Strider is right. Although I didn't mention exactly where the white boxes were in the original post (except to say that they were on the external screen) they are where I would expect the am & pm indicators to be. In fact, if I push the 'minus' button twice to access the outlook calendar on the external screen I get the following:

04:00[white box]-05:00[white box]

Any ideas?

And thanks for your earlier comments about the crackle. This is the third V800 I have had, and I really didn't want to have to send this back as well...

My beloved V800 is dead !!!!!!!!!!!!!




I was typing a sms in t9 mode. i've got R1D so there's a bug in french mode (phone reboots when typing "j'ai").
This time the phone hasn't restarted, juste shuted down...

I can't turn it on anymore
I'm soooo sad....
If anyone has a trick (i'll send it to a service center monday...)
