@whizkid: Might wanna do that but the more expensive it is the more chance I'll break it lol.
@djkizlive: Thanks for the links mate. The P800 you listed is £75 plus postage though, not that that's a bad price or anything.
@JN: Yea I love these technical wonderous little objects of delight.

Remember though, that the p800 literally is compatible with all UIQ software. Many progs still don't work too well on p900, e.g. photoacute.
Besides that, for half the price, you're getting nearly the same product. Just remove the p800 flip, because it is as ugly as hell, and you got a sexy phone, for extremely cheap. What more do you need?

Hmmm fair enough. Can the P800 do everything the P900 does?

@lisitsa: nice way of looking at it, as far as im concerned, the p800 is good enough for me, and its half the p800 for roughly the same features give or take a few. And your right, it is a pretty sexy fone.
@whizkid: i thnk tht the p800 is in escence the same as the p900, except its an upgrade, but what do i know, i don't even own one yet!

The P800 is a very good phone and considering your budget constraints, I'd go for this and when there's a better opportune time (meaning having more money) that when you can probably ambition for the newer models like the P9xx. By then you'd also be familiar with working around the smartphone.
Wish you well on the P800!

@RedStar: Thanks, I think that in my current situation the P800 seems the best bet, I'm sure I'll be happy with it.
@Ranjith: Thanks for the comparison link, much appreciated, there doesn't seem to be major differences but I don't really have the experience to say.
