Japan consoles are most likely to have the nice Sharp screen. The US ones will have the Samsung (which are a bit dull)

The US one gets Spiderman2 movie free, the Japan gets a music, movie, and game demo UMD disc.

The Japanese one is cheaper overall as well since you can get the basic if you want.

You can only get a value pack in the US

i ordered mine from audiocubes.com got the value pack and metal gear acid, it came to $418 which is just over £200. ordered it on saturday and hopefully i should have it by friday.

£200 for a valuepack plus 1 game is not bad i think, i wouldnt be suprised if the value pack cost £200 in the UK

thanks a lot for the replies guys...i din't know that the us one has a samusng screen aswell, ill keep that in mind. The only thing that i'm worried about (if i get the japanese one) is that i can then only watch the japanese umds (whill be in japanese, duh!) however if i get the us one, i'll be able to only watch the us dvd's, but these will at least be in english, and also i found this deal, which looks fantastic:
