Hi i have tried using fonts from the D drive and there is no problems unless you are changing memory sticks and your font will return to default, which is a real pain

You have Sman on your phone? After installation you have to restart phone before new fonts appear. Now go into Fn>Utilities>Set system font, check anti alias box, restart phone again and walla, new font.
I did as told above.... but when i look at Sman... i see only the two fonts installed one is SwissA and second is Currior.... these are by default installed in Z drive.... the new fonts which i am trying to install are ttf files for Arial, and cosmic fonts.... Please advise...

Have you guys install the new fonts in D/system/font ?
Once you have install the font in the correct folder, you have to restart the phone before that new font appear in the choice under Sman. Now once you chose that new font you have to restart the phone again for it to be set into phone.

I don't know what else to tell you, I do it that way and it work. Do you have "Freetype" on your phone? You might need that.
