@masseur

I am aware of that, but by the same token, companies shouldn't alienate their most loyal customers. I think a lot of people thought the legal action over the K700 pictures seemed rather harsh, certainly the wording and aggression of it all.

@vanquish, perhaps you misundertood something I said. of course they can remove stuff from their own site as they have

@scotsboyuk, I guess thats just the way business works. they look at the wider implications without consideration for the fact that stuff posted on esato is probably only going to viewed by esato members who are, as you say, loyal SE customers in general

And they only went up yesterday!! Didn't they?

Very strange!!!!!

I wonder if they will approach Esato.....

So something like this has happened before? What was the outcome? What a scandal? . Anyway, they should be glad we are taking such an interest. Some companies would kill to have such a hardcore fan-base like Esato.

@masseur

SE would be far better using Esato to help its business. Since the majority of the members of Esato are very loyal to SE, a few titbits now and again would probably do SE a power of good.

I would like to agree that SE should use Esato better but we are unrelated and therefore not in their control and although we might have 50,000+ members there are perhaps only 2 or 3 thousand regular posters and that is probably fairly insignificant compared to their worlwide customer base

I must say that I have already commented that I am surprised we have not been approached about our clara thread although for all I know we have

edit: oops! gotta fly! I'll look forward to see whats new here when I get home

@Masseur. I wouldn't underestimate Esato's influence.

You only to enter a SE model number into any search engine this site starts appearing near the top of the results. The hits must be tremendous..

@masseur

Point taken, however, Esato (and to a lesser extent other mobile websites) represents a very dedicated core of SE customers who tend to buy SE products irrespective of whether they actually need them or not.

There are probably many ways, in which SE could utilise such a loyal customer base as we have here at Esato. A few free items from time to time wouldn't go amiss either, if women's tennis gets over $80 million then surely SE can reward their most loyal supporters with the odd free handset for Playtime!

I think that SE doesnt realize that we here @ esato are very passionate about our SE products and just by the word of mouth we directly influence the opinions of our relatives,friends when it comes to mobile phones. We peepz @ esato know more about our gsm than the regular pimpled faced salesboy behind the counter of a Phonehouse. Taking notice and some reward would be appropiate.
I alone have made 5 of my closest friends buy SE handsets. All were Nokia users and now they own SE. 2 have a k700i 1 has a s700i and 1 had a p900 and the other a p910i.
