nope... its one of those animated pictures tat can be send via sms... only available in the 802SE japanese model....

yeah this is a nice features it spruce up the sms and better than the limited smilily face. well those that wan can try to flash w the V800 GDFS file and see if the pictogram is activated

Sorry to be dim, but when you say '...no more voda branding...' does that mean if I get the new firmware it will remove all my voda branding and replace the icons, for instance, with SE ones?

Official service centers is not allowed to ever change the branding of a SE phone. Doesn't matter if your contract is out or how much you pay, it's against the agreement with SE.

Plenty of people have decustomized their phone wit hthe setool service centre. There was big discussion on it about the P910i and the carphone warehouse. (although i think they are not doing that anymore)
The problem here is that the Z800 has not been released yet, SE will not like people having features to a phone that is not released in stores.
