I re-read my last post and wonder why I came up with 4bytes x 4bytes and concluded a total of 160bytes. I think I should review my elementary arithmetic lessons

Killer, i got your b&w picture via sms. Same to you too. Also you can put in very small imy tones. Create a very small tone and save it. Now you can insert/send via sms.

imy tones have to be really small to be sent by sms, not worth sending them

For me calling for a minute and one sms is the same amount. I did rather call and say it to you in all its glory. Btw, the fact remains that very small imy's can be send. Most of the nokia tones that we get cannot be send at all.

@k4m!k4ze, what software did you use to make the bmps? I can't seem to make a 1-bit bmp with Photoshop.

What file type did you save it as? Also how did you start? New with 32x32 pixels?

actually i started from a large vga pic, cropped it and reduced to 32x32 then reduced the colors to Index (2 colors). When I use Save As bitmap, it has only 2 available options 4-bit and 8-bit. I only need it to be 1-bit.
edit: don't worry guys, I got it now - I had to switch the mode to bitmap first. my mistake.

First open up the vga pic, change size to 32x32 pixels, set mode to grayscale. now again change mode to bitmap(this wont be available before). now save as *.wbmp
