yes - theres a big difference between the terms standby time and talk time.

standby time means the phone is turned on (screen off) but not used in any way at all.
talk time is actual use of the phone with average use of the different functions.

official standy time for k700 is 300 hours
offcial talk time for k700 is 420 minuttes (7 hours)

These numbers are actually very good for a phone of this kind.
They are quite competitive to similar phones of other brands.
official talk time of N6230 for instance is only 300 minuttes (5 hours) even though it has a poorer screen.

official talk time for T230 is 720 minuttes (12 hours) which is logical if you compare the poorer screen and the fewer batterydraining functions of T230.

I wish people would stop comparing batterytime by stating how many days there battery last. Its silly and makes absolutely no sence at all, because it depends solely on how every individual use their phones.
Efficient usagetime is 6-8 hours with a fully conditioned and charged battery. It varies depending on which functions of the phone you use. Playing games with constant lit screen and heavy use of the proscessing power use more battery than listening to the radio etc. Playing games or videos only, you can drain the battery within 4 hours, while using the phone only for calls where the screen turns off you may use it for 8 hours.

Some may burn these 6-8 hours during one day, others over a period of 4 days depending on how much and in what way they use the phone every day.

Its nonsense comparing how many days it last for each individual.

Its like comparing how many days peoples car can run on a tank of gasolin without knowing how many miles/kilometers each person drives each day.

When it comes to conditioning the battery for best performance, you need 3-4 full chargecycles before spotcharging, this means you need to charge it 8-12 hours the first time, then use til battery is almost drained, then recharge atleast 4 hours, repeat the drain/charge 4 hours 2-3 times, and your battery will be fine. You cannot have done this 4 times over 1 week. There simply hasnt been hours enough.

Yup. Three days is cool. You can easily find time to charge the phone once in three days unless of course, if You're in a marooned island! Lol. This message was posted from a T230
