For the USB charging, it *may* be bad. Compare your charger to the output of a USB port (5V 500mA max). I would worry more about a difference in mA (i believe the SE phones require 4.9V (so 5V should be fine).

i remember seeing a charging station in a movie multiplex in Mumbai. it had nokia, samsung, panasonic etc charging points. That is a good idea., but certainly has limitations. if only such stations are installed everywhere, say at shopping malls, movie malls, hotels, pubs, railway stations.....i know i am hoping for tooo much.

As far as I know current (mA) is not important because it only means max supported current, and current when you connect the phone is determined by charger's voltage and phone's circuits resistance. Meaning only voltage matters. Some1 correct of if I'm wrong.

If you've got lots of friends with Nokias, here's a useful little product:

Lets you use the (more ubiquitous) nokia chargers for your SE.

@Qwerty_uk,
Thats a nice piece of information. Thank you... I know there are lots nd lots of interesting gadgets out there, good to know that you actually read about it and remembered it...And you are right, most of my friends do have Nokia. Even after showing them SEp900 , its fantabulous performance (when compared to Nokia), those guys just wudn't understand. Anyways, its their choice, and this is mine.

Has anyone had any experience of USB chargers with their P910? Would be great to be able to charge my phone at work.
