Was there a Reboot option in 1.3? I don't think there was so I guess thats new too.
I see nothing tc suggest this copy will expire but I expect they'll release it before the end of March anyway

ajack wanted all SMan 1.4 beta discussion to go on in the
System Manager (SMan) v1.3 is now available thread
There is lots of discussion about what is new and there are also links on where to find the latest beta, which is SMan 1.4 beta 2

Why wait. The Beta 1.4 is fully functional & it doesn't matter if it expires in 2 months as no doubt by then u'll be able to replace it with a newer Beta or even the final version.
Also seems strange to me to discuss v1.4 in the v1.3 thread! Surely it is a different topic?

The topic sounds different, but ajack specifically asked to keep the discussion there because that is where he regularly checks. If you look, you will find that the last 2 or 3 pages are all discussion surrounding the betas of 1.4

Well...I think i'll be sticking to 1.3c..,unless they include a a unzip facility with ALL extensions. The changes mentioned don't warrant uninstallation of the orig...Pity uiq apps are in a bit of a timewarp....S60 has zipman2.31 that unzips the whole cabundle.

You don't need to uninstall the previous version (& this goes for all apps).
Just install the new one & it tells u the old one is there & asks if u want to replace it. It then removes the old one & install the new version all in one go
