The K700i, to be fair, has had MANY MANY bugs. Why cant they just make it good the first time

Ah well, its their loss. They have to make new firmware updates, but we should have a right to these updates without trapsing 300 miles to the nearest service centre!

Well till now i've been very happy with my k7...3 months and no problems whatsoever. The firmware upgrades is not just just a concept be se...all brands have to do the same. A couple of years since the phone was launched and my mate after having upgraded to the latest firmware is yet to experience a stable 6600. Same for my another mate who just got the software of his 6230 updated to the newest version...solved a couple of his woes but still experiences frequent random restarts on wap. I think that sometime people are too critical of se just because its a se forum and they have set their expectation levels too high...after all no phone is forged by the hands of god himself...at least se provided a exemplary sw release in the r2ae. Regardless of what people say no complaints here yet *touch wood*

You do, a dss-25 and a web browser.

yeah, and buy the damned thing, have access to the internet?

i am not an idiot Gigs, to be fair i thought you would have seen me with some more knowledge.

the PRINCIPAL of releasing a phone with many bugs and expecting everyone to have access to the internet and have a syncstation/car is stupid, why not give us free firmware upgrades that we can send the phone off without needing a dss-25. need to think about this, i am sure you will agree!
