Thanks michael.

I agree though, don't take my word for it. Try getting the latest fw with setool if you like, I just suggested TMS or Davinci because 1) it's cheaper 2)they have the latest fw and 3) they support T28 service cable (which is also dirt cheap)

So unless you want to spend $200-$300 on the Twister box and another $200 on the standalone license, then give TMS or Davinci a chance.

Why don't you mention how old your phone is and if it is a CID29 or CID36 phone. If it is CID36 you did not flash your phone. There is no way to flash a CID36 phone with SETOOL, TMS or Da Vinci. So in effect, I provided proper info, and not the, "no problem, flash away" version.

Your might not be a "real" CID36. I know this. TMS and Da Vinci gave me my money back and said that they can not flash the current v800, and this was 3 weeks ago. I am sure my phone is newer than yours. Second, on the various forums other people are having the EXACT same problem that I was having. Not being able to flash their phones. Like I said before, I got my v800 for 50 Euros and I get 33% of on SE phones, so I will not take the chance again of possibly killing my phone. If this guy wants to flash his and it works, great. If not he can come to you and others for advice how to fix his phone, and he can come to me and I will say, "told you so".

Well Sapporo,

If you had read the first post you would know that the OP's phone is NOT a CID36 seeing as how HE ALREADY FLASHED IT to R1X.

This thread is about how he has trouble with bluetooth.

And if you had read back a few bits you would see that I tried to provide him an answer about BT as well. Just so I know, how long will we go back and forth with this? I want to make lunch and get comfortable.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with BT dropping and reconnecting continually issues.

Sapporo - Could you tell me the exact version of the firmware that BT seems to work correctly with.

I'll try master resent but doubtful that will help.
