@Bug One
First you need GPRS activated with your network,
then this works with my phone.
1.connect using > orange GPRS internet
2.protocol > pop3
3.inc.server > pop.orange.net
4.incoming port > 110
5.mailbox > username
6.password > password
7.outgoing server > smtp.orange.net
8.outgoing port > 25
9.email address > your email address
10.download > headers+text
11.from name > whatever you want
12.signature > no sgnature
13.copy outgoing > off
14.check interval > off
This should sort you out but don't forgot to get the right settings sent to you by orange,you have to say it's for EMAIL cus there's different settings for just browsing WAP.
For GPRS email you get 0.5mb > £4 per month.
For GPRS wap you get unlimited browsing(subject to fair usage) > £4 per month
Hope this stops you from being pissed off
@pachy
This still works with me and Orange told me that my settings etc will not need to be changed if i had an Orange email account already,before they ended registrations.

@boyi, Yea, best not confuse people by saying you HAVE to have GPRS for Orange email, my answer was for the dial up method,your answer was for the GPRS method, either can be used. and both still work.

@pachy
I just tried the normal orange wap gateway and got 'server not found',
I think they want to use the t68i's email client.
You need GPRS to use the email client.

Only last night i sent a picture 50kb as an attachment in an email to my laptop from my phone using the email menu of my t68i not wap. GPRS is not active on this handset as i was unhappy with th cost, Orange make plenty on the wap charges, but yes they would prefer everyone on GPRS because it uses less network time. but you must not tell people something is not available unless your sure, if you doubt that i send emails on orange using dial up(non GPRS) then please check with orange on 156 it`s free & they are open as i write this.

It IS an ORANGE email acount, but orange closed the isp on nov 12,so they ask you to set up a freeserve acount to access it, but it`s an Orange email acount at Orange.net (thats where you go to read them if your online) Orange send me an email alert when i have email, ..boyi, trust me on this, it`s an Orange email acount.
