Unless the firmware flashed from Davinci would show the service centre the phone wasn't flashed with SEUS, they won't know any different but yes it is supposed to void the warranty.

I wouldn't bother contacting Davinci for help after a bad flash though. I did and they never gave me any help but just their credit price list.

Updating your phone over the internet is a risky business. I killed my phone this way and had to send it to the service center for repair. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
