Apart from the memory and the lack of bt in the K500, there isn't much difference between it and the K700. So yours is a good choice! Good luck with your phone!! :-D

You wont find the faster java of k500 useful because apart from the 3-4 3d games there aint many dedicated games for it, so you'll be playing s40 or t610 games which dont even dent its java capabilities beause they're low resolution, less graphic intensive apps.

I think the speed of java in K500 and K700 are supposed to be the same, it just seems slower in the K700 because refreshing the display takes slightly longer because it has a higher resolution.

Ya there aint a noticeable difference but thats because there are very java games that will actually push k7's java capabilities to the limit, if these are run on the k5 it'll handle them better but then it cant display them because of lower resolution and i this low resolution gameplay is what makes its java faster.
