Comparing the two I would go for MPP as it has more functions (i.e profiles). But pls be warned, that the MPP has a major bug that is yet to be fixed and that is not published on Symbianwave's website. Basically if you set an appointment in ur calendar thats linked to a profile, then all profiles linked to time before that appointment will not change automatically. Symbianwave has confirmed this bug after I constantly harassed them and promised to work on it. That was last December:-(. When I tried to remind them again of the bug this year, my email bounced back coz they blacklisted my email add. Talk bout customer service:-(:-(

Either way you should always test out all the functions in both softwares b4 you make a purchase

hi
thank you for this precision. i'm not using MPP with this option, in fact i'm using it mostly for switching profiles(most times manually.. combined with frontview it's very efficient i think) and as a call manager.
but it's good u point this to others guys !
bye

I used magic profiles, but had some major problems, for some reason it keeps putting my phone into silent mode for no reason with no warning, which is pretty useless. Also if your listening to an mp3 and it changes profiles then the volume changes on the mp3 player (not really a bug tho). If they fixed it up and made it possible for other programs to interact with it it would be good, also changing profiles on accesories connected/disconnected is missing.
