Thank you very much - I have been transferring mp3s all day to my p910i - with 1gb pro duo!
Why not convert them to oggs and have half the file size

but when you have 1GB then y worry?
Another question: I have got a cheap 12 in 1 card reader off ebay and works really really fast but im not sure whether it supports duo pro. on the memory stick section it says MS/POR/DUO. You guys the POR is a typo for PRO and will DUO PRO's work in this?

mines tiny. fits in my pocket perfectly. I also use it as a pen drive when im out and about. 15 in 1 means I can transfer files from my mates who use mmc, rs, sd cards to my pro duo easily

I bought a card reader that came with a whole load of extras with it - a keyboard, a 15" screen, a dvd combo drive, a touchpad, etc.... and had absolutely no probs with it. It takes MS/MSDuo, SD cards. I only used my syncstation once for the online update.
I believe there are many other popular brands of this card reader "special package" in the market

Try checking to see whether the IRQ's of the 2 devices are the same. If they are, you will need to replace one of them. This is not easy as Windows normally assigns them. What I remember doing was to uninstall one hardware and reinstall with the hope that a new IRQ number will be assigned.
To go check the assigned IRQ's, go to Control Panel>System>Device Manager then click View, choose Resources by Type and double click Interrupt Request (IRQ).
All of your installed devices should now appear and locate your BT device as well as your DSS.
Alternatively, you can go check Windows Help and search for replacing IRQ's.
I hope it works.
