I am not sure, sorry. But i guess this depends on the router. I mean i cant use my neighbours wlan everywhere in my flat. Still there are companies that is connecting all their computers thru 1 router in a big house. This message was posted from a T230

All i know is wifi cards and usb wifi adapters can go 30m in open space and home and small office routers can go 50m but really expensive ones can go much further
