Fact: people complain about the lack of EDGE suport in SE products.

From my point of view this is completely false and without object. SE have quite an interesting approach to this (which is also economically smart). They have indeed very few phones with EDGE support.

HOWEVER, SE are providing PCMCIA cards that fully support EDGE and are among the most competitive on the market (and as of late also support UMTS - rant about that, why don't you). Hence, SE assume that whoever wants top-notch performance will buy a dedicated product (which is actually correct, because one would require EDGE for a laptop or PC, NOT for a phone, for which GPRS is more than enough). Seconds, this would make one buy yet another SE product, which means that SE are doing better in terms of sales.
