How did you get a 64MB MS Duo Pro to work. The S700i doesnt support Pro cards. I tried a 32MB Pro in my S700i at one point and the phone didnt recognise it.
I also used a 128MB duo without any problems at all on my S700i. The only thing that I can think that might have made a difference is that my 128mb duo had been formatted on a P800 and wasnt fresh when I put it in the S70i.

The 128mb MS Duo I have in my S700i was initially in my P900 which is also what I used to format the MS with. I still get the rebooting problem. Have just updated my S700 to R4K so I'm hoping that this will help towards the problem.
Has anyone emailed

about the problem ?
Think I'll send them one tomorrow night after work.

Just a suggestion. It doesnt seem to affect all the s700is though, but it does seem to affect a lot. Weird.

yeah. I person who I work with has had no problem with his 3 month old S700 while my 7 month S700 has had most of the problems reported on Esato.

@JC
Not sure. I had a 64 Mg MS that came with the hopefully long dead BT MP3 Player Headphone that SE released about two years ago. I just took the MS out of it, and put it in my s700i. No problems. To be honest, I am not sure if it is a Pro card. I assumed it was because it was White with Magic Gate, but now that you mention it, it might not be a Pro card. I will have to get the card back from my daughter when she gets home. I think more and more it appears that it might be a combination of cards, phones, the moon and stars, the wave of the ocean, electro-magnetic fields, etc... and in the end, no one, not even SE knows why the phones are doing this. It is easier for them to give a new phone and hope for the best it seems.

So, can we or can we not use a 128 Mb MS Duo card on s700i (fresh new, not formatted, from the store) without experiencing the reboot problem?

@Val
To be honest, not sure. My 128 was newly purchased in Qatar for my s700i. It worked for a month or so and no problems, then things went to crap slowly. I got a new phone and it has rebooted twice so far. However, I have tried the 64 mg card and the 32 mg card with no problems. The thing for me is that I do not use my s700i for songs. I have an iPod for this. I use a few ringing tones, and photos for my contacts, so in reality a 32 meg card is enough for me.
