@GOVIGOV I have not indicated an issue with trends from market to market. Rather the repercussions created by unwise consumers. Smart consumers will always Get more bang for their buck. You do what you want. As for me, I excercise my buying power through wisdom. Patience is a virtue. This message was posted from a T616

The point stated in the first post is true to a certain extent...new releases are expensive but if companies see a craze in the market they can price it up yet another notch higher, this as stated is the premium for owning one of the first pieces. The best thing is to wait 6 months...once the dust has settled, prices drop to the ground and the added bonus of most firmware issues being dealt with already.

When k700 was first released in bombay the price was 21k, later on after few months it came down to 18k, then 16k now 13.5k
I was among the first few who brought k700i for 21k

All products get cheaper eventually. And with some tings you can't help droolling :-D Some people like to have bragging rights, and they usually have the money to, all it hurts us is that we have to wait longer to buy stuff and they get to brag longer. This message was posted from a T630

I think by now everybody knows the trend of prices so it depends entirely on what type of person you are. If you are the practical buyer or the compulsive rich spender; if you want to brag or save money.
