IV read in our sunday paper it might be someone from here in South Africa, and another guy from africa somwhere, but i agree a black pope is a bit weird even if they are qualified with the relevant beliefs, india..??? nope itll just confuse the rest of the world (im not a fan of christian indians- doesnt work with me)
Isreal to, can there be a jewish pope???

Why? Are european RCs more "christian" than others? This notion that a pope should be from a continent that has more followers is skewed imho. Pope John Paul was considered a world leader when he passed away. He wasn't mentioned "the European pope". Papacy is above petty continental, linguistic divides.
