I agree with what piggydives posted.

Some networks charge the subscriber just to have the voicemail activated. They (sometimes by the minute) also charge you everytime you listen to the messages left by your callers. If you're the one paying for your phone subscription, this all adds up after a while.

Now, if you have an 'answering machine' on your cell, you won't have to pay your network a single $.

I have it free on my network, but it would be good to have a answare machine on the P910i, so I can choose what I want to be told to who. and have profiles, so when I am at school, then It answares "Iam at school, please contact me later"

etc.

Dont yu think that would be good to have such app??

It is not possible to have the answer phone on a P series phone as have locked access to the call part of the phone so it is impossible to write a program for doing anything like answer machine or call recording.

Ok, so no 3rd party apps can do anything with calls? But i have seen apps like advanced call manager and magic profiles pro, who can have blacklist and reject hidden callers etc. Huh? This message was posted from a Nokia

@gardar
That is a big difference, because you can set up your own black list with a standalone Pxxx, heck you can do it with most SE phones if not all.
Advance call manager just uses that feature and and many others available, bundles it together and make it look like they made something you can't do yourself.
They don't actually get access to the call itself, just the programs Symbian/UIQ already has.. ok?!
