Thanks so much for the help guys. I have now located build 7 and 8. Does the latest build expire anytime soon? Thanks for the feedback too on what I plan on doing. Wouldnt want to get my face smashed in from irritating someone with an unwanted flier (lol).

anyway, its a good idea in theory, but i dont think youll get too many extra punters from it...

Dude, its on page 23 of the sman thread at my-symbian.com. Says it expires on May 1st though which kinda sucks but better than nothing.

I would use beta 8 for sure. 7 might have expired already. I don't know when 8 expires, but since the developers post here all the time, I am sure we will be notified of an update before everything expires. Hopefully the new version or final version will be out soon because there is another new feature being added.
About your little advertising idea, I think it is a new and novel way of advertising that hasn't really been tried before.I think it could be very effective at getting info out there because so many phones have bluetooth these days. I don't know how many people will respond positively to being bluejacked though. I hope it works out alright.

Can I ask one other thing - To anyone whos using bluejacking on 1.4, if you send a picture or a longer text message, does it just show up on screen immediately? Also, does 1.4 allow you to send images repeatedly via bluejacking? Im being lazy so should really test myself but if anyone knows would be a great help.

I just did some quick tests
..about sending pics, they dont show up straight away. a message box pops up asking if want to view the image. still, its pretty good. and you want to send mutiple pics u have to manually resend them.

Cheers ten! Can you send a longer text message in the vcard format? I want to tell people they can win a Sony PSP if they sign up to the bands mailing list but with 1.3, you cant have much text in the message area. Sorry for all the questions but I appreciate everyones help. Just figured I can send free flash sms too (lol). Those welsh students wont know whats hit em! mwahahaha
