I agree with threeX.
If you want a free phone (or next to nothing) pay the consecuences!!
I payed 360€ (about 250gbp) for my k700i because i wanted it sim free, so now i have a fully functional phone, and can put it on whatever contract i want.

i hate branded phones, there total poop

although they are cheaper, but once you've unlocked and debranded it probly worls out the same price anyway

i wont be buying branded phones anymore, would rather save up a little extra cash get the unbranded version

I agree with Cycovision, certain parts of the branding, like screensavers, wallpapers, and even perhaps the logos they insist on sticking on the front of phones I can live with, it's when they start really messing with the firmware and putting their own menus and things in that I can't stand, and disagree with!

I'm seriously thinking that when my contract comes up for renewal, I'm going to go to pay as you go as I don't actually make too many calls, I seem to use my phone mainly for texting and data with a few calls thrown in. Then I can spend that little bit more, and buy unbranded and unmolested phones to use with it as and when I feel like, and not have to worry about contracts!
