I'm still just a newbie really. Pure HTML I can do, php I'm looking into and I can just about scrape three lines of Javascript code together. I'd hate to run a W3C scan over my site
Far better at offline languages like Delphi truth be known.

Not that hard to convert to valid XHTML? You gotta be kidding me.
XHTML validator is returning around 120 errors per page, multiplied by 100 odd pages. Most of these are due to tags which are 'redundant' under XHTML but an important part of my site, I don't use CSS.

devide that by 5, if it finds an error it reports every other one that has something to with it like for example: I forgot the closing in one of my pages, total of errors from the validator 4 ....

Well, I've just validated (most of) them to W3C HTML 4.01 transitional, and I'll leave it at that for now I think.
There is NO WAY I'm wasting my life on the one which returned 1273 errors though.
Okay then, who was this, own up:

Okay, this isn't a bump but I'm really freaked out by this. I knew a fair few people were getting to the site through WAP but this is ridiculous:

I mean, a Commodore!
