The ps2 actually runs on 12 volts same as a car. You can take out the transformer from the ps2 and power it straight from 12 volts without an interver. You could just get a custom fabrication for you dash to conceal your playstation. Wireless controllers are a must to keep it cable free ;-) This message was posted from a S700

Correct me if i'm wrong... but a mate of mine who installed a PS2, 2 headrest mounted screens, a CD/DVD headunit with motorised screen and an insane amount of high-end audio equipment into a customers 1988 Holden Commodore reckons that the PS2 runs off 9 Volts.

Your right in that you could run it of the 12V supply without an inverter though.

As I said, I did it on the cheap. I didn't want to sacrifice my XBOX with 5yr extended warranty (from the retailer). I still want it in my lounge too.
