Thanks for that authoritive answer! Could you just tell me the easiest way to check my available storage on C? I have Sman too if that helps.

Its logical for apps to run faster on C, because when they are on the memory stick, it takes time for the information to be transfered from the card. This takes a sec.

Thanks for all the help guys. Sounds like its best to install everything on c if you have enough space available. I'll use my memory card solely for storing my pix, vids and mp3's. Thanks again

Well according to sman l I have 25.44MB of free space. Seems a lot! I thought the capacity was 32MB. Doesn't seem to have gone down much despite having quite a few apps installed. Nothing to worry about l guess.

Oh, hang on. The storaye wizard shows a total storage of 62mb with storage in use of 32mb leaving about 25mb abailable. I thought the p910i had 32mb of rom storage and another 32mb of ram but you cannot store onto ram?? Am I missing something here?

P910, will be 32mb. About 6 or so will be used up by the os and the like so 24-26mb free is about right.

No. my point is that strage wizard states the total storage is 62mb and storage used is 37 with available memory left of 25mb. Sman sysinfo states the phone has 32mb of both ram and rom memory. so why is storage wizard stating a max storage available of 64mb if apps cannot be stored in ram if this will be lost when the phone switches off? Im confused

Sman sysinfo states the phone has 32mb of both ram and rom memory.Look at C: size, not ROM size, in SMan. It's 64 (62) MB.

You are looking at the RAM info. To check the amount of C used up go to the pre-installed filemanager and make sure you are in the internal section (top right drop down menu) and then without ticking or clicking any folder go to file then properties and you will find your info there. hope this helps
