Received my K750i from Orange online yesterday (200 min and 1000 texts) and have to say that I'm loving it very much ALTHOUGH looking at the above o2 menus Orange really have simplified it too much. The Orange menu reminds me of the t610 menu, very basic, no animation, very 2d looking. Hopefully someone will offer debranding via the USB sooon...

Oh and where did the included HP printing application come from - didn't know anything about this!

Yep, that sounds like Orange. They really screw their phones up these days - my cousin's Orange K500 looks absolutely awful.

Is the menu stuff pretty much like the K700i then?

I picked up my K750i from the Orange shop yesterday and I'm not sure what the previous poster was talking about. The main menu as pictured in those screenshots looks very similar - the icons have ben redrawn and there's more of an orange tint to them but they are animated.
When you highlight an icon it turns from a flat image into an angled view of the same icon in 3D, giving the menu a very tactile feel.

I don't have a digital camera handy otherwise I'd take some screenshots.

My only complaint is that since receiving the SIM updates a couple of hours after buying it the shortcut menu seems to be broken. Has anyone else experienced this?

So far I'm very happy with this phone though and glad that I saved my upgrade deferment voucher for a few months to get it since the S700 never materialised

So does the Orange phone have the 'extra' desktop icons then??

Fair enough maybe I'm being a bit over critical - I have come from using a v800 though and I promise you that the Orange OS I'm using now isn't a patch on the v800's unbranded one... Maybe the k750i on O2 isn't as animated as the v800 too?

I want the 'dancing' spotlights from the v800 again!

Damn phone thieves...

BTW the mp3 playback is superb with the megabass turned on, easily rivals the ipod - If only 4GB duos were available and cheap...

Not likely!
