Does anyone know if SE are planning to fix this \ have fixed this.
It's the only thing I really don't like about my K750 -- I almost took it back because of this!

You can use themes to change ringtones - so if you download the theme editor, you could then design several identical themes with different ringtones.
Don't know if that helps at all.

AFAIK, the tone we can set in a theme is only the ringing tone and not other tones (SMS, alert).
IMHO SE should modify the firmware if possible in order to enable individual tones setting (for ringer, SMS, alarm) from each available profile. CMMI.
I do not know if this would be as easier as providing the profile renaming feature or not.

It's very annoying. I really miss the possibility of assigning a specific ringtone to a specific profile so I can change just that quickly when I go to class.
So I agree with Jkay that was a very BAD move!!

Its really a bad move and it kept me awake last night because I could not believe that SE would omit such a feature. FYI my firmware is R1L002. Hopefully the next firmware update will fix this because I use this feature on all my SE's. I even checked my t68i last night and even the t68i has the feature.
Other than that though, I really love the phone

why on earth did Se remove this feature? Makes no sense in having profiles...and also having multiple ringtones in the phone!
