Wow, works great on my K750i.
A couple of the emails couldn't be viewed on the standard Sony Ericsson email client (Something about invalid character type) but they work great in this. Good luck with future builds.

Error -1 typically means a general network failure, typically at the GPRS layer.
It sounds like your phone is only partially configured for GPRS. The WAP browser will use a separate GPRS setting than everything else on the phone (it's stupid, I know). So this explains why you can download the app (over WAP) but it can't connect.
You need to setup a new GPRS profile. I'd suggest taking a look at some of the setup guides for GPRS for your carrier that are probably kicking around this and other mobile forums.

You must set your GPRS up for applications. Once you have your GPRS set up please try again and let me know what happens.
Ybot (post 2) Access via the website is not open right now and has nothing to do with the ability for you to download and access from your phone.
nabraxas - thank you for the kind words.
Thank you all for your participation.

Hi there,
I created a second wap GPRS profile on my phone, but I still receive the same error message. Does this program require full internet GPRS or is WAP-based internet access all it needs?

Its important to understand that mobile phones have two places to configure internet for your phone - WAP and GPRS. WAP is used to download the application and GPRS is used to actually run the app. So, to answer your question, yes, you require your GPRS to be configured for Internet access.

I believe most mobile networks call this the Internet APN.

Ahh! Now I understand. My account I have with my provider comes only with a WAP APN and not an Internet APN. This explains the troubles. They told me it was an extra $50/month for access to an unlimited Internet APN. Just to check my email, I don't think it's worth it.
I thought this email program used WAP exclusively to check your mail. What a pity. Oh well.

Dr.pratikB.
Thank you for taking the time to participate and provide feedback. I have attempted to make the app for the lowest common denominator. So you should have have a problem with the 3100 but it obviously it is better on newer model phones.
In terms of your specific issue I am not sure if I understand your problem. When you answer "No" to the prompt to retreiving more messages, what exactly happens?
Look forward to your reply.
