My p900 is screwed. Huge magnolia coloured stain right across the middle of the screen, same in bottom left corner, the casing is bashed and scraped to hell...

but...

It still works perfectly. Great build quality from my phone has been badly abused at times, but function-wise it's still like new! top marks!

Hi. I know you want only p series abuse stories but here is my k700 one. I can't answer the phone while driving the bike as its illegal here, once the phone rang and i have it to my cousin who wap sitting behind me. She put it in her bag and when i got it it was scratched up like hell, some coins mp vanity stuff in her bag did it but i suspect jealousy as she has a 6600 nokia This message was posted from a K700i

Mines taken quite alot, its been dropped a few times so is covered in scratches, and the paint on the tops come off, theres also a dent in the screen off my keys, i can live with it, but its messed the touch screen up, when you go over it it triggers alot of the screen. It's insured and i think accidental damage is covered (i'm hoping), so i'll try get a replacement screen soon.

back when I had my p800 I smashed the screen twice
once I had it in my pants pocket and was playing with my daughter, my leg hit into the corner of a small table shattering the screen instantly
I got it repaired then a couple months later leaving a party I put it into my back pocket and jumped into my land rover only to take it out later to see the screen broken again
now that I got the p910 I'm takin extra precaution

Here's a story.. A friend of mine lost his P800 in a bucket of fresh cement at work, and the phone worked only partially after that if I remember correctly. Anyway.. He contacted the insurance company and they asked him to send in the phone. He sent them a peace of cement (keeping the damaged phone). In return he received a brand new phone!

My phone is quite intact though. Too expensive to throw around. But the paint is starting to wear off. I support the "titanium for the casing" idea..
