Just to stick up for CPW as I have a bit of knowledge about them - It sounds like the phone was sent off to SE (hays) because the main CPW repair centre couldn't fix the fault. It seems hays couldn't fix the fault either and have replaced the handset with a wrong one. So it is hays and NOT CPW's fault. Have a look at your repair paper work and see if it was replaced by the manufacturer or CPW.

Next time, buy it from them in the first place, and if the same thing happened, you would have got a replacement straight away.

OK,let me explain this again.So,I bought a brand new,security sealed P910 from someone from eBay.I even met the guy to pick the phone up.It was an upgrade from his network (O2) and the reason he wanted to sell it because he has one already.And a reason I bought it from him of course the price he offered to me.Exactly 50% cheaper then CPW was.Anyway as I said the box and the phone and everything was security sealed and believe me I can tell if anybody want to make this up.So,the phone was brand new and unbranded.But,after I completed the first 16 hours charge,made an update and about an hour use the poor thing is just died.So,I phoned the guy and he offered me to meet up and sort it out.First we went to O2,but they said they cannot change it.The only thing they can do is to send it back to SE.But if SE cannot repair it they have to send it back 2 more times.So,this whole procedure can take up to 7 weeks.Then they advised us to go to CPW because they are approved SE service centre.I phoned SE before and they said the exactly the same thing.They never even told me I can send the phone directly to them.So,we went to CPW,where they said they can repair it in 4 hours.Then I went back to the store about 5 hours later and they guy told me they cannot fix it on site so they had to send it to SE and that's take up to 14 days.Great,I thought.After 18 days,I was curious what happening.I went back to the store just to find out my phone is sitting there for 4 days now and nobody could give me a call.OK,I picked the phone up,brought it back home and guess what?It died again after half an hour.Well,back to the store explain the situation again,tell them I don't need that crapy phone they offered me for £50 deposit and the bloody thing don't even worth £20,etc.They guy said that gonna take an other 2 weeks.I said fine,whatever.Well,20 days leter I phoned them and they said they sent the phone to SE exactly 10 days later I left it with them and I have to wait at least 14 days to get it back.I don't understand why they needed 10 days to send it to SE?Anyway,after that 14 days I called them.After they couldn't find me in the system and the usual bollocks they said I can pick a brand new replacement phone from SE in max 4 days time.So,I called them back on the 4th day and they told me I can pick the phone up.And of course my phone wasn't there.The guy who was there told me yes they have the phone,but not here and I have to another 2 days.I phoned them 2 days later,same story,phone is there,etc.Well,finally they had the phone.I was so happy when I first saw it,but when I had a more proper look I couldn't even believe what I saw.The battery cover was look like it just came from a dog mouth.When I said I want a brand new phone because I left a brand new phone that stupid girl said that's just a battery cover,the rest of the phone is new.Well,to be honest the rest was ok,like brand new.No scratch on the screen and anywhere.Then she said this is the exactly the same phone I had they just changed the panel or whatever.That phone clearly wasn't mine.When I asked her about the battery if it's used she started to argue with me about the first charging time.You know the 8 hours or 16 hours thing.I know that's 16,so I told her don't give me rubbish.And when I asked her she said that is 100% sure is my battery.Then I just had enough of this whole thing.I forced her to give me a new battery cover and I toke the phone.But first I had to go an other CPW miles away to pick the battery cover up.When I asked them about the battery and they said the same thing ,I mean they always send the old battery back they never replace it.Well,I was happy.I had the phone back,I just wanted to use it.I charged it and I started to use it.What I wanted to do first?Update it.And then I had this problem I explained allready.They sent me an used and branded handset.Since then,I found a couple of little not really visible scratches but I don't bother about them.But I found something I heven't noticed before.I cannot close the Memory Stick cover properly.It just won't fit.And when I took a more proper look I saw the right side of the phone,that part by the camera button it like badly joined up,so there is a gap.And the whole phone is creaking every time I have it in my hand which is so annoying.
Well,that's it.I think I'll give a call to SE and CPW to see what can I do,but I don't think any of these two gonna do anything about this.I know CPW has almost nothing to do with the whole thing.The only problem I have with them is there costumer service,that waiting time,that stupidity,the attitude they always giveing me and they are pack of lies.
