Yes, but with .mp4, you can use a lower bit rate and get the same sound quality. The best is to do a test and see the lowest bitrate that you can tolerate. Use music that is sort of quiet and listen to see if you hear a swimming or wavering sound in the background. If you can hear this, then select the next higher bitrate until this is gone.

don't get it, get the sandisk one
I have a 1gb sony msd pro highspeed, and it has issues it crashes the phone every now and then when I use a sandisk one the phone never crashes.
