I'm running R1J and i've also had the white screen a few times (since ive updated to R1J)

Phone is refusing to go into the camera again now.
This is really starting to annoy me now, whats the point in buying this phone with a nice camera when you cant use it half the time.

It has occured to me that this started happening since I set the camera to save to the external memory card.
Is this also the case with other people who are having this problem?
It would be handy if we could figure out what causes this so that if i get my phone replaced it doesnt just happen again.

mmmm......mine's just started playing up also. same thing, open the shutter, switches to camera mode then shuts itself off
any more clues?

This is a known error here in Norway- rumors say that several phones have been affected as the cable was not properly attached at the pproduction line, and it is caused by the loosening of the internal flex-cable between the camera and phone. You need to get the cable reattacched.

hmm interesting might have to dismantle my phone as its camera has been broken for a few weeks now.
SE support promised a firmware fix 'imminently' but nothing seems to be happening on that front.
Need to get me a some smaller torx bits though as mine arent small enough to open phone

got a t6 torx and got the front and back off my phone no problem but didnt fancy trying to get the screen and keypad off to get right inside to the camera ribbon connector, didnt look particularly loose though.

hi i have had my K750i apart three times now for various things... take a look at
www.se-nse.com gbrooks has put a handy guide for taking the phone apart.
i can confirm that this IS the flex between the camera module and the PCB (main board).... Just reconnect the flex and bobs yeh uncle, a fixed fone!
